India Fight against deadly Coronavirus | Concerns & my thoughts- Sn Upadhyay

The situation around us is getting grimmer as covid-19 is showing its deadly impact in India. This virus shows how incapable we are as a collective human civilization even with the 21st century’s technological advancements. We all should learn from these times that we ought to shift our focus and resources towards more scientific research and pandemic mitigation. We really need to set priorities as to what is more important for overall human development and the future of humanity rather than investing our efforts and time in petty and primitive topics such as politics, and religion.

The past 2 years have really changed my perspective towards life in general and opened up new ways in which I think and work. Inequality of a different kind with various levels exists in this world. I thus question, is this really the intrinsic and never-ending phenomenon in nature or there are some real ways to level things up? Or this is the way how nature works, diversity and randomness in everything. 

So, sometimes I think and question myself, what can I do about all these issues? Shall I shut up and focus on my own business, just like 99% of my fellow humans? Or can I really stand up to do something about it from the root level? But when I remember what happened to the people in the past who dare to speak up, I relent and dig deeper in my mind for other possible ways to foster reform.

When you really look at the world with open eyes, my god you will be ashamed of calling yourself a human being. 

Just look around, people are dying of various diseases, poverty, pain, crime, inequality, hail without redress. And on the other hand, others are enjoying life, ignoring the issues, mindlessly passing their days, and just being stupid. Tell them a fact and they deny it because they have been so brainwashed that they have learned to conform to being ruled upon. The sheep are sleeping, even if their eyes are wide open. That proverb is could be perfectly attributed to the modern human who has dug a hole and buried his head deep inside the soil. Affection, love, honesty, and integrity have withered and so is my will to wonder further.
